Upper & lower limb injuries
Whether you have a plantar fascia problem or tennis elbow, an achilles tendon injury or wrist pain, we have got you covered. Common lower limb complaints include femoro-acetabular impingement of the hip (FAI), greater trochanteric pain syndrome from gluteal tendinopathy and/or hip bursitis, osteoarthritis of the hip or knee, adductor (groin) strains, patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS), ankle sprains, achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciopathy (fasciitis).
Common upper limb complaints include shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tears and tendinopathy, biceps tendon injury including rupture, tennis and golfer’s elbow, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, fractures and wrist sprains.
All of these injuries require a comprehensive assessment of not only the site of pain but also the surrounding muscles and joints to address any restrictions or weakness. Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, radial shockwave therapy and exercise prescription – all of it with the aim of using the best up-to-date evidence to get you back to doing what you love.
All of our osteos, physios and massage therapists can help you with some hands-on treatment and active therapies to get you moving pain-free and our exercise physiologist can utilise an active exercise-rehab approach to get you going.
