Dr Holly Dobbyn
osteopath, clinical exercise & Pilates instructor
Holly’s favourite aspect of Osteopathy is the holistic approach; treating the whole person, rather than just the site of pain. Holly is always eager to meet new people, learn about their lifestyles and endeavours to help them achieve their individual goals in improving their health and wellbeing.
Holly also loves the variety of patients that a day’s treating provides; whether that be a conversation, hands on treatment, teaching them how to move and perform exercise correctly, or educating them on the most up to date research and advice. She has a particular interest in treating those with lower back pain, neck pain, hip and lower limb injuries.
With athletics and sprinting being a huge part of her life (she is a Stawell Gift winner!), she is passionate about translating her knowledge, expertise and experience of running to her patients and osteopathic treatment. With a strong desire for continuous learning, this has led her to complete further training in dry needling, strength and conditioning and running specific professional development. This has developed her interest in rehabilitation and goal setting, in particular for injured athletes.
Outside of work, Holly enjoys keeping busy and active. If she’s not out running training or out walking, you’ll find her catching up with friends and family for brunch, always with a coffee in hand.
